Hey Ilan!

Scott Walldren here from www.mp3-reviews.com .  I just want to say how much I enjoyed listening to "Is It Too Late?".  A really mellow moving piece combining great blues with ambient.  I've never heard anything quite so well done.  I'd like to review it for our next edition.  You're a brilliant composer/musician, and I just wanted to say that.

Regards,
Scott Walldren

And here is the review...

The King of calm...

With finals coming up and the semester winding down and little pause for thought,I downloaded Ilan Virtzberg's "Is It Too Late?" from mp3.com. All I can say is Wow. I have not heard such creativity in mellow music since Enigma's first album. With this song, Ilan Virtzberg surpasses it.
The guitar playing is beautiful, mild like Carlos Santana at his best. The whole song just flows, like warm blood through a living being. Like a movie ('cinematic' listed among his styles), this song tells a story and depicts an array of emotions. This song is a grand journey through a state of mind that I have rarely visited lately: calm.
"Is It Too Late?" combines the best of blues, ambient, and new age to create an ethereal texture of sound and emotion. Download it immediately, and take the journey. Without a doubt, Ilan Virtzberg is one of the finest electronic musicians I have ever heard.

Recommendation: Download immediately.

Your music rocks!  I downloaded one of your mp3s from mp3.com and your music
shook me!  Truly groundbreaking stuff!  You  might be interested in
attending, and possibly performing the Layer III Conference.  It's a
conference and concert, being held in August of this year, in Jacksonville,
Florida to celebrate mp3s, online music and technology.  Check it out on the
web:  http://www.mp3con.com.  I think you would be a wonderful addition to
the music line.

Hi, Ilan:
I enjoy your music very much. I really appreciate your freedom with which you move from one style to another
Right now I am listening to the "The Eagle Way". It reminds me of Ennio Morricone's work for the Segio Leone's trilogy. Yet, it is quite different. Great work!  I also like how you mix different ethnic influences in your music.

I really enjoyed listening to the real audio of your songs.
This is some of the most passionate music I have heard for some time......

Hi Iilan
I follow up your work for many  years, and I realy enjoy it.
I was very happy to see your name in the 'weekly top 40'.

Hi llan!
It is a bit of a revelation listening to your compositions. I am called Ranjeev and am one half of 'Sybarite productions', we mostly make films for broadcast and have dabbled in associated entertainment and marketing segments.
I am in the process of compiling a database of world musicians whom I intend to promote in India, where we are based. I can explain further, at some later stage, but first....
Would you be interested in performing/playing live in India? Please say yes!

Peace out

Absolutely beautiful music!  Too powerful for words!

Hi! My name is Davis, and we're looking for
artist interested in having ther music on our web
site!  We are doing amazing flash design for
companies around the world and always need
good songs!  I've been listening to your samples
for three weeks now an I must admit that you're
the best ambiant techno music maker I've ever
heard! I'd be glad to use your music....

Hi.

I don't know whether you'll get this or not, but I just had a few questions.
I think your music is awesome.  I've always loved ambient music, but you've
added a flavor to it that is spectacular.  My favorite song is Dance for the
Ancient Days.  So you play all the instruments?!  Wow.  Have you ever done a
live show?  How did you manage to get all the sound in?  I know a new york
artist who works with loops and guitar.  He does his loops live.  It's
pretty cool.  His music is a little similar to yours.  Anyhow, I hope you
are happy with where you are.  You're a great musician.  Keep it up.

Dear Ilan,
Happy New Year to you. My name is Steven Hewitt and I write a column
called CDReview for Visions Magazine in the US. I am also a compiler for
compilations with Neurodisc Records. I had heard your great song "The Sea
Legend" when I first started searching mp3.com for new artists to review. To
make a long story song I have put together a compilation CD with "The Sea
Legend" as one of the tracks. If we have your permission to use the song on
the comp we need to get your label and publisher information so Neurodisc
can secure the license for the song. If you don't have a label or publisher
Neurodisc will secure a non-exclusive license from you and pay you a small
advance to use the song. Neurodisc Records is based in Fort
Lauderdale Florida and has been in business since 1992. Though predominately
a house/urban/back beat music label they are trying to promote their more
ambient music with their groups Bella Sonus, Nusound, Phobos and newly added
Amethystium. The compilation will feature the four Neurodisc artists along
with nine other non-Neurodisc artists.
This compilation will be sold in stores across the US and will be
invaluable
in advertising your music in the US. If you have any questions at all
concerning this
please email me at the above address and I hope to hear from you as soon
as possible. We are trying for a possible Spring release date on the comp.
Many thanks!

Best wishes and Happy New Year,
Steve Hewitt
